Practice Enterprises have been operating in Kosovo since 2006. The Kosovo Practice Firms Centre (KPFC) was established in 2009. In 2016 KPFC was voted as the newest member of the international association. KPFC is one office within the Kosovo Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The KPFC is, since its establishment, providing all necessary services to more than 100 Practice Enterprises throughout Kosovo.

Donor organizations and different projects have and continue to provide a major support to the TVET sector, among them the Ministries from Austria and Switzerland supported the implementation and running of the Kosovo Practice Enterprise network.
