What is Corporate Social Responsibility?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the responsibility of enterprises, companies and organizations to support the well-being of society and be accountable. CSR programmes provide an opportunity to increase and improve the social, environmental and economic impact of an organization and to give back to the community by supporting various initiatives and more. CSR initiatives do not need to be extensive, time-consuming programmes but can be tailored to the organization's capacity and interest.

CSR opportunities at PEN Worldwide
There are multiple ways of how you can get involved in the Practice Enterprise community in order to support youth, help facilitate the re-integration into the labour market or promote social inclusion among other focus areas:
- Events: International, national and regional events such as Practice Enterprise Trade Fairs or online Trading Events regularly take place. For these events our organization teams are frequently looking for volunteers for a few dedicated hours or up to a few days depending on the event type.
- Challenges & Competitions: Our teams are frequently looking for judges from the business environment to evaluate our Practice Enterprise competitions - from Global Enterprise Challenges to Elevator Pitches and Social Media Competitions. The involvement usually does not require more than a few hours of your time and can often be flexible.
- Mentoring: A more long term opportunity is to become a mentor company for one or more Practice Enterprises in our network. The amount and frequency of involvement can be set up and evaluated individually and tailored to your needs.
- Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing: Our goal is to provide the best possible support to all Practice Enterprise Trainees as we believe that they are our future. In order to continuously improve the training concept and programmes, our Coordination Center organizes monthly sessions for the national Central Office staff to exchange ideas, share updates or best practices and introduce new tools. We are always interested in having experts from the business world provide valuable insights on topics such as but not limited to entrepreneurship, equality, HR trends, diversity management, new work trends, digitalization and much more.
If you are interested in supporting youth, young adults, persons with disadvantages and various other groups in their path towards a successful, happy personal and educational life, contact our Coordination Center Team today and get involved.
